In the Studio - The making of Enter The Allosphere
My first blog post of the new year! As anyone who follows me on facebook or twitter will know, I've been having a few hard drive issues recently which has prevented me from keeping this blog moving along. Well, as of yesterday the new hard drive has been fitted to my iMac and I'm up and running again. So this first post of the year is a bit of a catch up really.
Just before Christmas I pimped up my twitter page and started up my Youtube channel. This has come about as a result of direct result of listening to requests from people who wanted to see and hear what I get up to in the studio and below is the first in a series of videos that I'll be making going forward into 2012.
You'll be the inside my studio with me, see some of the synths that I use, and I'll be showing you tips tricks and the techniques that I use. This first video is all about how vital getting up and moving about in the studio is. I'd love to know what you think about it, so do comment below and lets start chatting about the kind of things you do to get things moving.
I'll be back up with my next post soon which is about taking the seemingly dry management techniques of an office and using them to make music production time much more efficient. One key element of this is keeping the creative part of you engaged while knowing where you are going. Till then - happy music making!
